The effectiveness of the Hanfen Beck Model in developing some offensive basketball skills among first-year female students

The aim of the research was to identify the effectiveness of the Hanfen Beck model in developing some offensive basketball skills for first-year female students. The researcher used the experimental method because it suited the nature of the research, as he divided the research sample into two groups, the first was a control group and the second was an experimental group. The researcher used a pre-test and a post-test for both groups. In order to achieve the research objective, the researcher designed a two-month educational program based on the Hanfen Beck model, taking into account the main stages of the model in this program, The research sample consisted of first-year female students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra for the academic year 2023/2024. The research sample consisted of (40) female students, the experimental group numbered (20) female students and the control group numbered (20) female students. The most important result of the research was that the Hanfen Beck model had an effective impact on developing some offensive skills in basketball. The researcher recommended the necessity of adopting the Hanfen Beck model in teaching basketball skills in academic and educational institutions.
